Hey everyone,

Just thought I would throw this thread up about a Game my Computer Games Society at my University seems to love (and is free!)

It's League of Legends and it's a pretty easy game to get into. It's got a Fantasy RPG feel to it but it's quite good fun!

No. Fuck no, it is one of the shittiest game. If you want to play that kind of games, go play Heroes of Newerth or Dota and it's filled with kids. If you play with one hero, next week you'll notice you can't play with it anymore unless you buy it from the store. Next time you can play with it, you have to wait for quite some time. Anyhow I believe there are some people stuck playing Shitsca... Runescape anyway.

Do you know what? I'm sick of people putting down other people because of their tastes. I thought "Why not see if anyone else wants to play something different which Doesn't require a server and you know might get this community playing together" and what do I get. A Bloody scream fest saying "OH it's Shit etc etc". Seriously Grow Up!

And Sona, I extremely find that very discriminatory. It's fine to say that you don't like that genre, BUT you don't have to

A- Compare me to a Kid (Saying it's full of kids is not only comparing me to one but some of the people I know in Real Life who are at University)
B- Swear saying it's the s***** game ever.

Oh oh! and A- I did not compare you to a "Kid" saying it is full of kids. I know people who are at uni and play LoL, but it still doesn't mean it's not filled with kids (which it btw is)

My point in the post was that LoL is like WoW or Shitscape, you go play it and then you get addicted to it, then you will start spending money on it and nothing good will come out of it. I've seen it happen multiple times.

Sona you have some serious anger issues. Either that or you don't realise sarcasm just doesn't work on a forum. Either way you need to be way less aggressive in the way you get across your ideas.

You didn't really have to close the topic. I've given Sona a warning anyway, as there's no need to come into a topic discussing a game and basically say it's shit. He created the topic because people might be interested, not because he wanted to get flamed for liking the game.

Opinions.

Anyway, I've unlocked the thread again, but I don't want anyone shitting it up with "I think this game is bad so therefore the game is bad". If people want to play it, let them. Anyway, forget what happened further up and continue discussing the game.

It's Freenium which means it's Free to Play because it's got a store similar to games like Battlefield Heroes etc.

The other thing is that the Champions (The character you control in the game) does change around each week.

So you have to buy the champion in order to actually concentrate on playing one champion.

But one point I must make is that you also earn points for playing games, and all champions can be purchased by both the Prenium currency or the Free Currency.
