Hello Everyone,
First before I start, I apoligise to anyone that was offended by the last Awards Post. We didn't think it through and were in a bit of a rush :S.
So now we have thought it through and we have changed whats happening.
Instead of the Nominations Council Choosing, YOU will choose who should be up for Vote. You will be asked to Write in Nominations for people you want to win. We will then Compile them, remove those who we don't agree with and then make the Nominations.
To make this clear, there will only be FOUR Finalised Nominations per category, this is because on the Awards Ceremony Night we will be annoucing the Nominations first and then the Winner therefore we CAN'T have everyone in one Category.
Okay so you may be asking WHAT ARE THE CATEGORIES?
Well here they are:-
Best Rp Admin - The Award for who you think is the Best RP Admin on Soul's RP Server.
Best Build Admin - The Award for who you think is the Best Build Admin on Sona's RP Server.
Best Builder - The Award for Recognising a Person who has a great skill in Building (We don't count any E2 builds here)
Best RP'er - The Award for Recognising a Person who takes RP Serious.
Best E2 Code - The Award Recognising a E2 Code which has been recognised widely as AWESOME!
Most Helpful - The Award Recognising the person who helps people the most
Most Annoying - The Award Recognisng the person who Annoys everyone the most
Best Comedian of the Year - The Award for the Funniest person of the year
Best Xuras Project - The Award for the Best Project done for Xuras (You can vote for your own in this category only)
Friendliest Player - The Award for the Friendliest and kindest person on Xuras.
Biggest Mingebag - Needs no introduction!
Best Poster - Quality not Quantity is recognised here.
Best Contraption - The Best Contraption is recognised here. (A Contraption is a Build which has a purpose i.e Starling's Roulette Wheel)
Gaming Addict of the Year - The Person who plays the most games with out breaking down!
Best Video of the Year - The Person who has created the best video
Greatest Fail - Again, Needs no Introduction!
The Xuras Fellowship Award 2009 - This has changed since the last Thread, the Xuras Fellowship Award is the only award not influenced by Votes and is awarded by the Nominations Council. This Award recognises the strength in one person to help make Xuras a Better place.
So there are the awards.
Once you have nominated Send it away and the Nominations Council will consider your nominations. We will then draw up a list of people and then Put them up for vote. The Reason why we put them up for vote is so the people who didn't think of them can get a chance to choose them.
I will then count the votes and draw up Winners. These won't be annouced until Awards Night and before you ask I won't give them to the Presenters until about 5 seconds before they actually say it.
Nominations will close on Monday 14th December at 17:00 and the Nominations Council will then have a meeting to decide the candidates and the voting will open probably on Monday as well Depending on how well it goes.
