It would work, just it would mean a new slider, and the current slider that has already been released wouldn't work. Also it means more vertices to do the same job. I doubt this would be easy to bend around corners as well, hammer isn't known for it's excellent vertex control capabilities

one idea i just had is have sliders like this shape "[" "]"

with one func door to move inwards it simplifies things

i would draw on paint but im too tired

random and long winded idea but if u made all the track system a door that didnt move that had weight would that stop the jumping problem between intersections?

I had this thought before V3 but I decided it wouldn't work because the track that doesn't move will sink, it's not the problem of the getting onto the track that's the problem, it's the getting off. The track'll still be at the same height coming off. Getting on might become a problem there as well, because the non-moving track will sink, and the intersection will still be at the right height since there's nothing on the intersection, which means that the intersection will now be higher than the track, you'll catch on the way in and catch on the way out.

Though the bumps wouldn't matter so much as you're held onto the track.

Donkie: If you make a map with these rails I'll make you a slider, of course only if you want it.
