Mumble
« on: 01 June, 2009, 20:05:39 pm »
Been a while but we have a 24/7 mumble server now which some of us use more than others but since I fingered alot of you don't even know about mumble since was so long ago we posted about it here's the information again!

Testing a new open source program this is a VOIP program made for gamers. This is very much like Ventrilo or Teamspeak but seems to have better latency and better more realistic sound quality been projected. Me, Thingshappen and dot have been testing this and seems to be pretty good and the best bit about it is that there is a website that provide low lag 24/7 up time servers for it! Which means we can always have a voice server up, even though at moment I have not worked out how to change channels etc. Since the company who provides these servers are German.

For the Download check here:
http://mumble.sourceforge.net/

To able to connect to the server here are the details:
Name: Xuras Community Mumble
Address: 84.234.26.125
Port: 64738

No thanks, I'd love to... but no thanks.

I'll stick with vent, still awaiting teamspeak 3.

Cause we aint got SSL on the server. Just accept the certificate and it will just allow you to connect every time then without anoyying pop up's
